Dr. Ivana Chow

DMD, MS, FRCD(C), Dip Ortho

Dr. Ivana Chow was born in Hong Kong and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area after she immigrated to the U.S. with her family. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Later, she attended University of Pennsylvania for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, where she graduated Top 5 of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Society that honors elite students of the graduating dental class.

Dr. Chow was drawn to orthodontics due to the uniqueness of this specialty, which allows her to address and improve the individual esthetic and oral function concerns of her patients while establishing memorable friendships with them. She proceeded to pursue her specialty training at Columbia University in New York City where she received her Master of Art degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Chow is a board certified orthodontist in both Canada and the U.S. through the Royal College of Dentist of Canada and the American Board of Orthodontics, respectively.

As newly weds, Dr. Chow and her husband are excited to begin their journey together in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The beautiful landscape, friendly people, the diversity and the food made them fall in love with their new surrounding instantly. They are looking forward to getting to know, and further integrating themselves into, the community with your suggestions and input.

New to the Lower Mainland, she is drawn to the beautiful landscape, friendly people, the diversity and the food.  She looks forward to getting to know more about the area and the community with your input!  When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking, reading, hiking, watching sports games and playing tennis, badminton and golf.
