Gone are the days when braces seem to be the only option available for teens to correct their teeth alignment. Most teens feel unhappy at the idea of wearing braces because it comes with some discomforts and side effects. But thanks to the innovation behind Invisalign, there’s far less worrying to do.
The fact that Invisalign is made from transparent plastic material keeps it discreet and invisible. People rarely get to notice that you’re wearing Invisalign to align your teeth.
No food restrictions. You have the flexibility to remove your Invisalign tray anytime you want to munch your favorite edibles. And you can conveniently replace it after eating – no stress at all.
Unlike traditional braces that use wires, Invisalign does not cause pains to your gum and jaws. Yet, it is as effective as braces when it comes to correcting teeth alignment.
Invisalign aligners are removable and replaceable anytime you want to brush or floss your teeth, making it possible to maintain good oral hygiene without any stress.
Depending on the severity of the teeth condition, it takes an average of 10 to 24 months to complete Invisalign treatment. Unlike traditional braces where the orthodontists need to adjust the wire to keep the treatment going, in Invisalign treatment, the whole sequence of movement is planned out by your orthodontist at the beginning of the treatment! This means, the orthodontist only needs to see you once every 2-3 months to see if the teeth are moving as planned, and each appointment will only take 10-15 minutes. Better yet, we now offer virtual appointments for our Invisalign patients where you can submit photos of your teeth with the aligners in for us to check the fitment. This allows us to identify problems virtually and schedule you to come in earlier as needed.
A series of clear, removable aligners are produced at the start of the treatment. Each aligner set is worn for about a two week period; you remove them to eat, drink, brush and floss your teeth and you must wear them the rest of the time. At the end of the two week period (or the time period prescribed by your treatment plan), you replace the aligner with the next set in the series.
This continues for the whole dental program prescribed. Your teeth are being moved by these aligners until they have straightened to the correct position. Every six weeks, you will need to visit our office to check on the progress and ensure that the re-alignment is proceeding according to the plan.

Crowded Teeth

Irregular Spacing
The teeth must be a certain shape and size to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. If a tooth doesn’t fit properly, it can cause issues. Dr. Wang and Dr. Lee understand how to address this issue. Invisalign braces are a great treatment option.
Open Bite

Under Bite

Over Bite
When the upper jaw and teeth extend too far over the teeth on the lower jaw, resulting in the appearance of a protrusive upper lip and teeth, or buck teeth, overbite is the culprit. Cross Bite
A cross bite is present when a tooth or several teeth are too close to the cheek or tongue. It prevents the teeth from biting against each other normally, making it harder to chew. Deep Bite
